Game six was nothing short of incredible. Just when it looked like the Spurs were going to win, the Heat quite literally turned up the heat and pulled off an amazing come from behind win that’s kept them alive for another game.
Now the Heat are not exactly the most likable team in the NBA, on account of the fact that they have LeBron James and they’re from Florida. Then again, the Spurs are from Texas and have quite a few championships under their belt. Lets just say no one is going to win Miss Congeniality this year.
The big question for tonight’s game is which LeBron James is going to show up. The pressure to perform is not a great as it was last year, when James had yet to get a championship ring on his finger. But this game will be a defining part of his legacy, and the legacy his Spurs nemesis Tim Duncan.
I’m a New Yorker, so I’ve got no horse in this race. However, for some reason I have developed an intense dislike of the Heat and LeBron James. And given that my mom is from Texas, I guess I’ll throw my support behind the Spurs. But in my heart I’ll always by a Knicks fan.
Regardless of which team you’re rooting for, it looks like we’re in for an exciting conclusion to the 2013 NBA playoffs.
